Hoe kan ik mijn medische gegevens thuis opvolgen? In Belgium, one answer is CoZo, a platform where you can view parts of your medical file after logging in.2 Open it, check what has been shared with you, and keep notes of anything you want to ask your doctor.
CoZo is short for Collaboratief Zorgplatform, or Collaborative Care Platform. It is a digital platform that lets healthcare providers work together and share data.3 This guide explains what you can see, where to look, and how to keep your own notes private on a Mac.
Hoe kan ik mijn gegevens bekijken?
After you log in to CoZo, you immediately see the results that have been shared with you.2 You can also view your CoZo results through Mijngezondheid, the federal portal, once you are signed in there.4
Through CoZo you can consult your medical images, vaccination data, and medication schedules.2 You can also see population screenings and your most recent health summary, called a sumehr.2
What you will not see
CoZo does not show your whole file. The medical history there only covers results made available by the care institutions and linked eHealth platforms connected to CoZo.2
What you see can also differ from person to person. It depends on the policy of the hospitals, laboratories, and radiology practices your results come from.2
Waar vind je het volledige dossier?
To get your complete file, ask the care institutions directly. You can find their contact details on their website or in their privacy policy.2
This is a good moment to plan your follow-up. Make a short list of the places you have been treated, and request the file from each one.
Why sharing data matters
Your data is often spread across the providers and institutions you have consulted over the years.3 With your informed consent, it becomes available to the providers currently treating you.3
CoZo says this helps them treat you faster and better, and avoids unnecessary tests.3 It also says medication interactions and allergies are shared right away.3
A private Mac workflow
Here is a simple routine. After you read your results online, open a notes app on your Mac and dictate a few lines: what changed, and what you want to ask at your next visit.
Health notes are sensitive, so where the speech recognition runs matters. Voicci is a macOS menu bar voice-to-text app built around private transcription, local Whisper-based speech recognition, and offline use.1 It also offers global hotkey dictation and universal text insertion on Mac.1
What to watch next
Because visible results depend on each hospital, laboratory, and practice, check CoZo again after new tests.2 If something you expect is missing, ask that institution for it directly.2
If you want to keep your own health notes by voice without sending them elsewhere, try Voicci for private, on-device voice-to-text on your Mac at voicci.com.
